Practically, our Movement is the only hope

for saving the world from complete disaster.

I wish that it will be noted down in history that this Krishna Consciousness Movement is responsible for saving the world. Practically, our Movement is the only hope for saving the world from complete disaster.

[Srila Prabhupada Letter to: Sucandra, Bombay 1 January, 1972]

These two classes are required very urgently

So this is position. Therefore, because we are Krsna conscious, we are servants of God, therefore it is our duty to save this human civilization. You see. Krsna wants it. And to save this human civilization, these two classes are required very urgently. So you American boys and girls, you are intelligent, you have got all facilities. At least in your country, create these two classes, brahmana and ksatriya. The world will be saved, and you will be saved, and Krsna will be pleased. Brahmana's business means that people should know what is God, what is our relationship with Him. That is brahmana's... And ksatriya's business is to give protection to the people so that may all know what is God.... The ksatriyas should give protection; otherwise the demons will disturb. So there is the necessity of war with the demons, for ksatriya.

[Srimad-Bhagavatam Lecture 1.2.14 Los Angeles, August 17, 1972] *The Complete lecture is at the end of this article and is very nice! Tape 72-013

So original book publication and distribution with centers giving full facility and guidance for people to hear about Krishna from Srila Prabhupada is the brahmana's work. Strong counter propaganda in the form of websites,  mass e-mailing, street literature distribution against the Illuminati's new world order, clearly informing the people of the world that there is God and that His representative was poisoned by these demons and his mission usurped will protect them from a hellish path of blasphemy. This is the business of the ksatriya's.

The demoniac Illuminati's propaganda that Prabhupada's mission is simply a child molester cult is their clear attempt to stop the people of the world from reading his original books, which have been distributed by the millions before they started to change them. Srila Prabhupada was too clever and a step ahead of these demons. Now they are realizing this point, that they cannot check Srila Prabhupada's mission going on internally through these original books.

Now we have set fire. It will go on, it cannot be stopped. You can bring big, big fire brigades but the fire will act. The brainwash books are already there. Even if they stop externally, internally it will go on. Our first class campaign is book distribution. Go house to house. The real fighting is now. Krsna will give you all protection. So, chant Hare Krsna and fight

(S.P. Letter to: Tamala Krsna, Vrindaban 30 October, 1976)

The Illuminati's attempts to blaspheme Prabhupada is their way of trying to make the innocent masses averse to reading these original books that are sitting on their book shelves. "DON'T READ THOSE BOOKS THE AUTHOR IS THE RING LEADER OF A CHILD MOLESTER CULT !!!"

This is the envious message these demons are trying very hard to propagate all over the world through their agents the world media. We have to understand these points and fight for Srila Prabhupada before we have no freedoms in the Illuminati's new world order. The real fighting is now. We all have to get up from our slumber and try to save ourselves and human civilization from going to hell after nuclear destruction.

This is my limited realization of how we can practically apply the above point from His Divine Grace namely:

"these two classes are required very urgently"

This will help bring about the spiritual world order of Varnasrama [see article below]

Summary of the demons program
to destroy Srila Prabhupada's ISKCON

1. Enter the society posing as devotees [sinister movement] and constantly work to disturb Srila Prabhupada in his translation work.

2. Poison Srila Prabhupada "to death" then pose as his successors and introduce unauthorized principles.

3. Change Srila Prabupada's writings so present devotees and future generations lose the direct link to Srila Prabhupada.

4. Propagate blasphemy of Srila Prabhupada to the population of the world with an attempt to stop all reading of original writings already distributed.

HEARING OUR WAY CLEAR

 TO VARNASRAMA

The varnasrama system is the only solution to counteract the New World Order of the demoniac Illuminati. The following article reveals how it can be gradually manifest for the sanity of suffering humanity.

So this Vedic scheme, varnasrama, is a very important scheme. If possible it should be introduced and taken up very seriously. That is one of the items of Krsna consciousness movement, to reestablish the institution of varna and asrama. Not by birth, but by qualification.

(S.P.C. Washington D.C. 8th July, 1976)

Prabhupada: Yes, Krsna created these four division, brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra, but He does not belong to any one of them. He is neither brahmana nor ksatriya nor vaisya nor sudra. He is transcendental. Similarly, our philosophy--just to make the human society very peaceful and making progress we wish to establish this system.

(S.P.C. Los Angeles, 23rd June, 1975)

At the present moment in the world state, there are sudras and less than that. There are no ideal brahmanas or ksatriyas. But these four divisions are imperative. So our business is to keep fit as brahmanas and to train others to be ideal ksatriyas and vaisyas for advancing the whole society.

(S.P.L. to Rupanuga Maharaja, 28th April, 1974)

Therefore there is the institution of varnasrama. Catur-varnyam maya... Krsna says, "I have made this varnasrama for the benefit of the whole human society, although I don't belong to any varna, asrama." Krsna has nothing to do. But to maintain the human society very peaceful, advancing in spiritual knowledge, this varnasrama is required. Therefore sometimes I become very eager to start a varnasrama college. We have nothing to do with varnasrama, we Krsna.., But we want to see that the whole human society is peaceful. That is our mission.

(S.B. Lec. 6.1.12, Los Angeles, 25th June, 1975)

The whole aim is how to worship the Supreme Lord. That is human life. So if we make these divisions, so any class of men, if he comes to this social system of varnasrama-dharma, then automatically... Just like if you admit your son in a school, there is first class, second class, third class or eighth class. In this way he makes progress. One day that son comes out as a graduate. So the human society must accept. This is school of varnasrama-dharma. Then gradually he will be educated and he will come to the understanding. Brahma janatiti brahmanah. One day he will understand what is Brahman, and that is brahmana.

(S.B. Lecture 3.25.1, Bombay, 1st November, 1974)

Yajna means we have to satisfy the Supreme Person. That is called yajna. And this process can be executed when the human society is very regulated. Regulated means there must be division of these varnas and asramas. Varna means four varnas: brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra. And four asramas: brahmacari, grhastha, vanaprastha, sannyasa. They have got their respective duties. So unless the human society is divided into these eight scientific divisions and everyone acts according to his position, there cannot be any peace in the world. That is called varnasrama.

(S.B. Lecture 3.25.3, Bombay, 3rd November, 1974)

My next program is to reinstate the Vedic divisions in society as recommended in the Bhagavad-Gita:

catur varnyam maya srstam/ guna karma vibhagasah

tasya kartaram api mam/ viddhy akartaram avyayam

Without this division there cannot be any systematic peaceful running of human activities.

(Letter to Syamasundra, 1st April, 1974)

Prabhupada: No, we have to make this propaganda because we are servant of Krsna. And Krsna orders, krsi-go-raksya-vanijyam. So we must take to agricultural work to produce food and give protection to the cows. And if there is excess product, we trade. This simple thing we must do.

(S.P.C. Paris, 11th June, 1974)

But Krsna's grace, Caitanya Mahaprabhu's grace, they are being now trained up. Now you be trained up and revise the whole edition of the western civilisation, especially in America. Then a new chapter will come in. This is the program. Therefore varnasrama school required.

(S.P. M.W.C. Vrindavana, 4th March, 1974)

Prabhupada: First of all varna. And asrama, then, when the varna is perfectly in order, then asrama. Asrama is specially meant for spiritual advancement, and varna is general division. It must be there in the human society, or they're on the animals. If varna is not there, then this is a society of animal. And when the varna is working perfectly, then we give them asrama. Varnasrama. That is later on.

Hrdayananda: First they should be taught a skill.

Prabhupada: Yes. First of all, the whole society must be divided into four varnas. Otherwise, there will be chaotic condition. That is what is the position now. What is he, what he has to do, one does not know. And there are so many unemployment. But if you organise the society into varnas, there will be no question of unemployment.....Yes, yes. Our main aim is how to give them Krsna consciousness. But if they are already disturbed in every respect, then how they'll take it? Therefore we are taking these subjects, to help him to come to the Krsna consciousness. And this is the method--varnasrama.

(S.P. Morning walk conversation, Vrindavana, 14th March, 1974)

Those who are in Krsna consciousness, those who have decided to serve Krsna only, they are no longer in the categories of sva-dharma, the bodily sva-dharma, brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra, or brahmacari, vanaprastha. He is transcendental. That is confirmed in every sastra. So far we are concerned, Krsna conscious, so long our bodily concept of life is not completely eradicated, we must follow the sva-dharma of the body. Brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra, ity adi. But when actually advanced, that is maha-bhagavata. We should not imitate that, but our process is the more we advance in Krsna consciousness, we become transcendental to this bodily concept of life, brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra.

(B.G. Lecture 2.31, London 1st September, 1973)

THE IDEAL CLASS. PEOPLE WILL FOLLOW

Prabhupada: Yes. They want to remain in degradation, and they will protest again. Therefore to save the degradation, this catur-varnyam must be established. That I... The ideal class. People will follow, "Oh, here is the ideal class." So we are trying to make an ideal class of Krsna conscious people. And if you treat yourself as degraded, then who will care for you? You should remain an ideal class. People will follow gradually.

Mahamsa: If a brahmana class is created, then automatically the ksatriyas and vaisyas and sudras will be changed.

Prabhupada: Yes. Yes. The ideal, if you be ideal class, gradually they will take your advice, what to do. Then immediately the whole degradation will be finished.

(S.P. Morning walk conversation, Hyderabad, 23rd April, 1974)

Pusta-krsna: Is it that the sudra class of men should be trained that they are serving either God or a God conscious leader, or should they be educated to feel that their work is for God.

Prabhupada: Yes, provided you are for God. They will see and laugh. If you simply teach them, you do not do anything, then how they will learn? Apani acari prabhu jive sikhaila. When they actually see that "These men are dedicated to God," then they'll do whatever you wish.

(S.P.C. Geneva, 31st May, 1974)

  •
  • Prabhupada: Yes. First of all, there must be a class of men, ideal men, brain; people will follow them. My request is therefore that you should become ideal men. If we fight... Now there is fighting amongst ourselves. That is very disappointment to me. The same politics, intrigues. The nature is so strong that brain becomes, what is called? Fag brain? Brain becomes deranged.

    (S.P.C. Geneva, 31st May, 1974)

So people will take it, any condition, provided you are ideal. Apani acari prabhu jiveri siksaya. That is Caitanya Mahaprabhu's movement. He teaches others by behaving Himself. "Example is better than precept." If you cannot rise early in the morning, then how can you ask others to rise early in the morning? What is the effect? There is no effect.

(S.P. morning walk conversation, Hyderabad, 23rd April, 1974)

We want to create some men who can give guidance to the human society, because at the present moment the society is without any intelligent head, namely Brahmins, therefore the whole world is confused for want of real guidance in the matter of ultimate goal of life.

    (S.P.L. to Bhutatma 7th August, 1973)

Therefore, at the present moment it is a great necessity to have some ideal men. Yad yad acarati sreyan. Therefore we are endeavouring to create some ideal men, Krsna conscious men, their character, their behaviour, their ideal aim of life. So those who have taken to Krsna consciousness seriously, they should be ideal men. The society will be benefited at least by seeing their behaviour. And Caitanya Mahaprabhu has taught us, apani acari prabhu jiveri siksaya. If you don't behave yourself as an ideal man, you cannot preach. Your preaching will not be successful. Apani acari prabhu jiveri siksaya. Because the nature's law is that ordinary men, they follow the ideal.....Therefore our Krsna consciousness movement is just to teach people how to become Krsna conscious, surrender unto Him. Then they will be happy. This is the way of Krsna consciousness movement. We want to create some ideal men. People will see them, and at least they will understand that "Here are the ideal men." They will be ashamed. So those who are in Krsna consciousness movement, they should be sreyan--yad yad acarati sreyan--the best men in the society. Otherwise useless.... We should be very, very careful to become first-class men so that others will follow. Sa yat pramanam kurute. If you become a first-class man, sa yat pramanam, whatever you will do, lokas tad anuvartate, people will follow, naturally.

    (S.B. Lecture 6.2.4, Vrindavana, 8th September, 1975)

    BY HEARING, HEARING, HEARING,

    HE BECOMES BRAHMANA

By becoming a brahmana, hearing, hearing, hearing... Or by hearing, hearing, hearing, he becomes a brahmana. The other qualities, sudra quality, ksatriya, vaisya, means finished. So then next stage is, srnvatam sva-kathah krsnah punya-sravana-kirtanah, hrdy antah... Nasta-prayesv abhadresu. By this process, hearing... Without becoming a brahmana nobody is interested to hear. Then, by hearing, nasta-prayesv abhadresu, then abhadra, means the base qualities, means ignorance and passion... These are the base qualities. So nasta-prayesv abhadresu. When these base qualities are finished almost, not complete, nityam bhagavata-sevaya, by hearing from Bhagavata or by serving the spiritual master and Krsna consciousness movement.

     (S.P.C. Mayapura, 14th February, 1977)

You remain in your position. It doesn't require you have to change. It is not that a sudra, without becoming a brahmana... Of course, sudra will become brahmana. By hearing. Brahmana means brahma janatiti brahmana. If he hears, even a sudra, he can understand what is Brahman. Then he becomes brahmana. So this is required. Sthane sthitah sruti-gatam tanu-van-manobhih. With great attention, body, mind and words, intelligence--with everything, one must hear.

    (S.B. Lecture 3.25.4, Bombay, 4th November, 1974)

So by Krsna consciousness movement, if people take to it seriously and become advanced... The same process, srnvatam sva-kathah krsnah, simply hearing about Krsna, as we are doing. Then, gradually, we come to the platform of goodness, and the lower modes of material nature, namely ignorance and passion, cannot disturb us.

    (S.B. Lecture 1.2.21, Los Angeles, 24th August, 1972)

    DVIJA, VIPRA, VAISNAVA

Generally, a man is born as an ordinary being, and by the purificatory processes he is born for the second time. When he sees a new light and seeks direction for spiritual progress, he approaches a spiritual master for instruction in the Vedas. The spiritual master accepts only the sincere inquirer as his disciple and gives him the sacred thread. In this way a man becomes twice-born, or a dvija. After qualifying as a dvija one may study the Vedas, and after becoming well versed in the Vedas one becomes a vipra. A vipra, or a qualified brahmana, thus realizes the Absolute and makes further progress in spiritual life until he reaches the Vaisnava stage. The Vaisnava stage is the postgraduate status of a brahmana. A progressive brahmana must necessarily become a Vaisnava, for a Vaisnava is a self-realized, learned brahmana.

    (S.B. 1-2-2)

So this Krsna consciousness movement is trying to do that, trying everyone to become a bona fide brahmana. Without becoming a brahmana you cannot become Vaisnava. So this reformatory process is recommended in the sastras......It is accepted that everyone is a sudra because there is no reformation. So according to Pancaratriki-vidhi everyone should be given the chance of becoming a Vaisnava, a dvija. And that is recommendation in the Hari-bhakti-vilasa, that by the proper initiation process everyone can be brought into the platform of dvija, twice-born, and then he becomes... After initiation, his second birth is there. Samskarad bhaved dvijah. Then he's allowed to read the scripture. Veda-pathad bhaved viprah. He becomes vipra. Then when he really comes to the knowledge of Brahman, his relationship with Brahman, and acts accordingly, then he is brahmana. And when he is perfectly situated in the eternal relationship with God, Visnu, then he becomes a Vaisnava. That is perfection of life.

    (S.P.C. New Vrindavana, 28th June, 1976)

Everyone gets father and mother. Without father and mother, there is no question of birth. That janma is sudra janma. Then, when he gets second birth by the spiritual father, then he becomes a dvija, twice-born. Again birth. Then he is allowed to study the Vedic literatures. Vedo-pathad bhaved viprah. And when, by studying, he understand the Brahman, then he becomes brahmana. This is the process. Brahma janatiti brahmanah. And then, after becoming a brahmana, when he understands Krsna, then he becomes Vaisnava.

    (S.P.C. Los Angeles 23rd June, 1975)

In summary, if we are to establish varnasrama then we need to create an ideal class of men who are free from the influence of the lower modes of nature and their qualities, lust and greed. How we achieve this is described very nicely in the Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.2.17 to 1.2.20. The process is to daily hear the Bhagavatam from the devotee who's life is a living example of the Bhagavatam. Therefore in order to save suffering humanity from the influence of Kali yuga [the age of quarrel] , we should take advantage of Srila Prabhupada's recorded lectures on the Bhagavatam to train up a class of men in the art of submissive aural reception. By this endeavour we shall gradually find the emergence of the ideal class.

    Srimad-Bhagavatam 1.2.14
                                    --
                       Los Angeles, August 17, 1972

    Pradyumna: (leads chanting, etc.)

                           tasmad ekena manasa
                         bhagavan satvatam patih
                         srotavyah kirtitavyas ca
                        dhyeyah pujyas ca nityada

    (devotees chant responsively)
    Prabhupada: Where is Nandarani?
Devotee: She's in the kitchen, Prabhupada.
Prabhupada: All right. Go on. Any other ladies? (woman chants) That's all. So read the word meaning.
Pradyumna: (reads synonyms) Translation: "Therefore devotees should constantly hear about, glorify, remember and worship the Personality of Godhead, Bhagavan, who is their protector."
Prabhupada: So tasmat. Tasmat, "therefore." It is continuation of the last verse. What was the last verse?

                        atah pumbhir dvija-srestha
                          varnasrama-vibhagasah
                         svanusthitasya dharmasya
                         samsiddhir hari-tosanam

Everyone should know how to become perfect. That education is not there. They do not know what is perfection. They do not know that "I am eternal. My struggle for existence is for perfection of life, to come to my original position, Krsna consciousness, so that I may regain again my eternal, blissful life of knowledge." That is the aim.
So it is required therefore that the social system should be organized in such a way that automatically people become interested in the ultimate goal of life. That is civilization. This is not civilization, simply animal propensities: eat voraciously and sleep twenty hours and have sex life without any restriction and have atom bomb for the defense. That's all, finished, civilization. Ahara-nidra-bhaya-maithunam ca samanyam etat. These things are there in the animals. Just like goats. We have seen goats eating twenty-four hours. Not only goats, they..., all other animals. Even if he is strong animal. That, they are... I told you. Na hi suptasya simhasya pravisanti mukhe mrgah. Suptasya, sleeping lion. Lion is very powerful; he is given the honor of becoming the king of the animals. But still, he has to work for eating. It is not that because he is lion he will be sleeping, and some animal will come and enter into his mouth. No. That is not possible. He has to work.
Similarly, everyone has to work. Therefore there must be systematic work so that whole society may develop Krsna consciousness, the ideal or the goal of life. Without program working... Just like I was hearing that in Japan they are very much, the people have very much liking for working, but, by law, they are being prohibited, "Don't work." So this civilization has been created that they do not know anything more. They are not taught that working is not our main business. Our main business is, as it is stated, hari-tosanam. Samsiddhir hari-tosanam. We have to satisfy Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Or God, whatever you say. But they do not know what is God.
So "There is no God. There is no life." These things are being taught throughout the whole world. You... Canakya... What is...? That Carvaka theory. Carvaka theory is that,

                         rnam krtva ghrtam pibet
                         yavaj jivet sukham jivet

    and

                         bhasmi-bhutasya dehasya
                        kutah punar agamano bhavet

Bhasmi-bhutasya dehasya. In India, according to Vedic system, the body is burned after death. They are not so foolish to stock and occupy millions of square yards. No. "Body is finished; just burn it," finish. Why stock it in a tomb and occupy so much space? Practical, you see. So bhasmi-bhutasya dehasya. Bhasmi-bhutasya means the body being burned, it becomes ashes. So, actually the ultimate form or format of this body are three: either you become stool, or you become ash, or you become earth. Those who are burying underground, after few years the body will become earth. And those who are throwing on the street or on the water, so that body will become stool. Because if you throw on land, some jackals and some animals, some vultures, they will come and eat, and by, after eating, it will be stool. So either ashes or stool or earth. This is the last stage of this body. And we are taking of this stool, ash and earth so much without caring for the real vital force which moving the body. We are very much careful for ash, stool, and earth, not careful of the living force which is moving this body, beautiful body. This body is beautiful, very attractive, very important, so long that spiritual spark is there. Otherwise it is stool, ash and earth. They do not know this.
So this requires intelligence. That intelligence is divided into this varnasrama-dharma. There must be intelligent class of men, brahmana. They are called intelligent class of men. Catur-varnyam maya srstam. The society must be divided into four classes for cooperation--I have explained yesterday. So at the present moment, two classes are wanting: the brahmana class and the ksatriya class. The vaisya class and the sudra class and less than sudra class are there. Because in the Kali-yuga, it is stated, kalau sudra-sambhavah. Kalau, in this age, most, major portion of the population will be sudras. Sudras means fourth-class men. Fourth-class men means sudra-karma svabhava-jam. What is that? Paricaryatmakam karma. Just like dog. A dog, unless it has got a nice master, it is street dog. A street dog. It has no value. Anyone can kill, and it has no shelter, loitering in the street. So sudra means dog's position. If he does not get a nice master, then he's street dog. In spite of high education, M.A., Ph.D, D.A.C, and this and that, if he does not get any employment, he's street dog. What is his value? Eh? "Oh, I have studied high technical education." But if you do not get a service for using your education, then you are a street dog. Is it not?
Everyone is searching after some service, service, service. So this service attitude means sudra. Paricaryatmakam karma sudra-karma svabhava-jam. In the sastras, therefore, it is said that the brahmanas, even there is some difficult time... Just like nowadays, at the present moment, we are creating brahmanas, but people do not much like us. They do not care for us: "What is this Krsna consciousness, chanting Hare Krsna?" Their street... They are thinking they are beggars. But they are the most intelligent class, brahmanas. They do not honor. So this Kali-yuga, actual intelligent class of men has no honor. A third-class man, fourth-class man, fifth-class man has got honor if he gets some money. That is the system of Kali-yuga. Somehow or other, you gather money and you are fifth-class, tenth-class man--you will be honored. This is Kali-yuga. Not for your qualification, but because you have got money, you are honored. This is going on.
So kalau sudra-sambhavah. At the present moment, 99.9%, they are sudras. Therefore the society is chaotic condition. Therefore in your country, you are the richest country in the world, you are producing hippies, frustration, confusion. Chaotic condition. And if you continue this, then you'll lose all your opportunities. Artificially, you cannot remain opulent for many days. There were so many empires--Roman Empire, British Empire, Moghul Empire. These were artificial. If you systematically follow the Vedic principles as it is ordered by Krsna... Catur-varnyam maya srstam guna-karma-vibhagasah. You must divide the society according to quality and work, four classes of men: brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya, sudra. And less than sudra, they are neglected. Not neglected, they are incorrigible. But Krsna consciousness is so nice, even those who are incorrigible, they can be devotee. That is mentioned in the Srimad-Bhagavatam:

                     kirata-hunandhra-pulinda-pulkasa
                     abhira-sumbha yavanah khasadayah
                    ye 'nye ca papa yad-apasrayasrayah
                   sudhyanti tasmai prabhavisnave namah

This movement is so strong that even the fifth class, sixth class... After sudra, then fifth class, sixth class, go on, unlimited. Only the upper four classes are counted to be really civilized organization. Otherwise, there are so many divisions of...
So, but if the upper four classes are in right order... The same example can be... If your upper portion of the body, the head and hands, you can protect, you can fight. But if the upper portion is cut off, your head is cut off, your hands are cut off, then no more fighting. You fall down. Is it not? So they do not know this science. They're killing the upper portion, the brahmana class, the ksatriya class. Formerly, the ksatriya class, they were being trained. Just like I am now writing notes on Bhagavatam of the four princes. They were to be given in charge of the kingdom. Before giving charge, they were sent for austerity. And they met Lord Siva, and Lord Siva gave them instruction, and for ten thousand of years within water standing, they underwent austerity. Then they came back and took charge of the kingdom. This is ksatriya.
Just like Dhruva Maharaja. Dhruva Maharaja, at the age of five years old, he left his father's home, went to the forest, and with determination he saw God, Krsna, within six months. But after coming back, when he was older, when he became king, oh, he was so powerful that there was some mischief done by the sons of Kuvera, he killed them like anything. You see? He killed them like anything, so that the Kuvera personally requested that "Maharaja Dhruva, I know that they are criminals, you are doing your duty as king, but I request... Otherwise my whole dynasty will be finished." So immediately, Dhruva Maharaja accepted a great man's request, Kuvera. And this Kuvera being so satisfied by the behavior of Dhruva Maharaja that he was prepared to give him any benediction: "My dear king, you can ask me, from me, any benediction you like. You have kept my request." So what Dhruva Maharaja asked him? He was Kuvera. Kuvera means the treasurer of the demigods. If he wanted that "The whole treasury of the universe should to given to me," he would have given him. But what he asked? He asked, "My dear sir, you are so kind, you are prepared to give me all benediction. Please give me this benediction so that I may be attached to the lotus feet of Krsna."
This is ksatriya. If required, they'll fight and finish the whole opposite party. Otherwise they are devotees. Just like Arjuna. Arjuna, a ksatriya. Not that Arjuna was coward. He was sympathetic: "Krsna, what is the use of this fighting? The other party, all my relatives, if I kill them, then what do I gain?" Actually, that is the fact. We work so hard, accumulate money for showing to our relatives, to our friends: "Now, just see how I have become rich." "But if they are all gone, then whom shall I show this kingdom?" Thinking like ordinary worldly man. But he was not a coward. Not that he was hesitating to fight, but when he understood that "Krsna wants this fighting. Oh, that's all right." Then Krsna asked him, "My dear Arjuna, what is your decision?" "Yes." Karisye vacanam tava. "Yes, I shall fight." This is Krsna consciousness. "Krsna wants this fighting. I do not want. I have nothing to... What is my value? Krsna wants it. That is value." This is ksatriya. So finished--the whole grandfather and grandchildren and everything, finished. The other party, Kauravas, not a single person lived.
So this is ksatriya. And brahmana, giving direction. All the ksatriya kings were taking direction from highly learned sages and brahmanas... Just like Yudhisthira Maharaja. So these two classes are now wanted. Here is stated, catur-varnyam..., eh, varnasrama, varnasrama-vibhagasah. Otherwise, this present human civilization is dead. There must be these two classes of men: brahmana and ksatriya. Sudras and vaisyas are there. There are so many shopkeepers and workers and laborers. There is sufficient number. Now there is no brahmana and ksatriya.
So our Krsna consciousness movement is to give some benediction to the whole human society. It is not a sectarian so-called religion, sentiment. No. It is a scientific movement. Scientific movement... If you say, "Why you are interested to save the human society?" That is Krsna's business. Krsna wants, God wants, that "All these living entities, they should come back home, back to Godhead. Why they are suffering?" Therefore Krsna comes personally.

                           paritranaya sadhunam
                           vinasaya ca duskrtam
                         dharma-samsthapanarthaya
                           sambhavami yuge yuge

Krsna is very anxious. We are suffering here, rotting here. We are sons of Krsna. Krsna does not like to see that we shall rot here. He wants, "Come back home, dance with Me, eat with Me." But these rascals will not go. They will stick here. "No, sir. It is very good here. I shall become hog and eat stool. That is very pleasant."
And ksatriya's business is to give protection to the people so that may all know what is God. That is ksatriya's... And vaisyas business is to provide food for them, production. And sudras is to help all these three classes by their labor. This is social organization. It is not that everyone will become brahmana or everyone will become ksat... No. At the present moment, the Communists are trying: "Everyone should be Communist." That is not possible. You cannot make everyone of the same class. No. That is not possible. You have to use your intelligence in such a way that these four divisions can work cooperatively and become perfect.
And that is suggested here, svanusthitasya dharmasya samsiddhir hari-tosanam. That common platform means how to please Krsna. Never mind you are brahmana, you are ksatriya, you are vaisya. But so long we are in the material world, there must be four divisions. The ksatriyas should give protection; otherwise the demons will disturb. So there is the necessity of war with the demons, for ksatriya. So these three classes are required, brahmana, ksatriya, to give protection. And as soon as the social system is organized, the perfectional point is to satisfy Krsna, or the Supreme Lord.
Therefore in the next verse it is said, tasmad bharata... Tasmad ekena manasa bhagavan satvatam patih, srotavyah. How you can satisfy God if you do not know God, if you manufacture God? Srotavya, hear about God, what is God. Don't become nonsense, accept a rascal as God. There is meaning of God, what is God. Not a dog is God. Srotavya. Srotavya and kirtitavyas ca. And spread that knowledge. Just like you are hearing about God. Now you have to spread it. Kirtitavyas ca. Not that "Oh, I have known God. That's all right. Let me be satisfied." No, you must preach. That is another business. Because people are ignorant. They do not know what is God; they are manufacturing God. They're accepting some rascal as God. So what is real God, you must preach. Srotavyah kirtitavyas ca, dhyeyah. And you should always think of God; then you will get intelligence. If you think of something else, for sense gratification, then it will not be done. Formally, for simply a show, that "I am devotee"--no. Dhyeya. Always thinking of God, always thinking of Krsna. Dhyeyah pujyas ca, and offering worship, just like we have got this in the temple. Chanting Hare Krsna, that is dhyeya; and pujyas ca, and offering worship to the Lord.
So preaching, hearing, always thinking of, and worshiping. These four things are required. Then everything will be all right. It is not official business, that after one week you go and "God give us our daily bread" and go home. No. Nityada, twenty-four hours we should be business, engaged in this business. Nityada. What is the meaning of nityada?
    Devotees: "Constantly."
Prabhupada: Constantly. Kirtaniyah sada harih. That is required. Life should be molded in such a way that not for a single moment you are without Krsna consciousness. That is real life. That is perfection. Because you have to make your life perfect by satisfying Krsna, satisfying God. Samsiddhir hari-tosanam. If you want perfection, But if you want again to become cats and dogs, which you have already passed through and now you have come to this human form of body, then you do whatever you like. But if you want to make this life perfect, stop this business of becoming repeatedly cats and dogs and trees and this and that, then this is the process: tasmad bharata. Ekena manasa. Concentrating fully. Ekena. With one attention. No diversion. Ekena manasa, bhagavan satvatam patih. Don't be afraid that "If I simply concentrate my mind in Krsna, then how other things will go on?" No. Bhagavan satvatam patih. He is very careful about His devotee. Krsna, God, is giving everyone's food, but that is according to karma, according to his quality and position. He's getting food. Just like hog is getting food, but he cannot get more than stool. He cannot claim, "Give me halava." No, that's not possible. You must eat stool. Because you are, by your karma, you have got this body, hog, you must eat stool.
So those who are under the karma, under the principles of nature's law--that is karma, nature's law--they are different. Prakrteh kriyamanani gunaih karmani sarvasah, ahankara-vimudhatma. Those who are ordinary living entities, they are being carried away by pull, they are being pulled by the ear by nature's law. But those who are devotees, their position is different. They are under the special attention of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He therefore declares: kaunteya pratijanihi na me bhaktah pranasyati. "My dear Arjuna, you can declare to the world that anyone who is My pure devotee, he'll never be vanquished. I shall take care." Why He is asking Arjuna to declare? Because a devotee's attempt is never baffled. That is Krsna's desire. Even His own declaration may be sometimes false, but if a devotee declares, Krsna will see, it must be done. It must be done.
Just like Hiranyakasipu. He was given benediction by a devotee, Lord Brahma. He tactfully got so many benedictions, "I shall not die in this way, I shall not die in this way, I shall not..." But Krsna saw that "This rascal has created some complication. How to kill him?" So to keep the words of the devotee, Lord Brahma, He did not touch all the conditions proposed by Hiranyakasipu. He did something else and killed him. He wanted that "I shall not be killed by man, by animal." "All right." Then Nrsimhadeva is neither man nor animal. He wanted, "I shall not be killed in daytime or night." "All right." He was killed in the evening, which is neither day nor night. He wanted that "I shall not be killed on land, on water, on air." "All right." He was killed on the lap. This is God. But you may be very intelligent to trick with God, but God is still more intelligent to, I mean to say, cut down all your tricks, and He must put you into death. Mrtyuh sarva-haras caham. That you cannot avoid. If you, you say there is no God, God will come at the time of your death. Just like Hiranyakasipu; he did not believe in God. God came, "Yes, here is God, you see now what is God."
So before meeting God in that way, the best thing is to see God always within the heart. Premanjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena santah sadaiva hrdayesu vilokayanti. Those who have got developed God consciousness, he is always seeing God within heart. That should be practiced.
Thank you very much. Begin kirtana. (end)
